This crochet doll is sure to become a little girl's favorite.

She wears a smart blue dress, green sleeveless jacket and blue panties, and, essential from a small girl's point of view, all her clothes can be taken off, then put back on again.

She is not difficult to make. Her body, head, arms and legs are worked in single crochet. Her dress is a simple pattern based on single crochet and the sleeveless jacket has a double crochet 'cluster' design.

It is a good idea to fill your doll with a washable stuffing and then it will not matter if she takes a bath in a puddle.

When you have made one doll, why not make her a sister with different-colored hair and clothes. Or you could make several outfits for one doll. For instance, you could make her a sleeveless sweater and skirt by adapting the dress pattern. Or make some trousers in single crochet using a few more stitches than are given for the legs.
