Darth Vader Amigurumi Pattern

Come to the dark side and make this fantastic Darth Vader for the Star Wars super-fan in your life. He's ready for some lightsaber action! Really, the dark side has never looked so cute! The doll dimensions will end up being about 25 centimeters (10 inches) high and 17 centimeters (6.75 inches) wide.

What You'll Need:

  • Crochet needle (size depends on size of yarn, I used size 2.5)
  • Tapestry needle
  • Yarn (black, gray, green, red)
  • Stuffing material like Poly-Fil
  • Gray and black embroidery yarn (optional)

  • MR: magic ring
  • Sc: Single crochet
  • Inc: increase (2 sc in 1 stitch)
  • Dec: decrease (1 sc in 2 stitches)
  • Inc dc: Increase (2 dc in 1 stitch)

Head (in Black)

Round 1 : 6 sc in MR
Round 2 : Inc in each stitch
Round 3 : Repeat (1 sc, 1 inc)
Round 4 : Repeat (2 sc, 1 inc)

Sew to the head with a stitch on the front, back, and each side.

Triangular Mask (Mouthpiece, in Black)

Row 1: Locate front center stitch on the helmet and make 1 sc two stitches on the right of left of the middle stitch. Continue with 4 more stitches. This way you end up with 5 sc in total around the middle of the front of the helmet.

Make one in red yarn and one in green yarn. Sew them to the breastplate.
