My favorite hobby is crocheting doll clothes. Using what I've learned from reading existing patterns, I create my own designs for Barbie.

Crochet a Dress With a Chevron-Patterned Skirt for Curvy Barbie

A while back, I got a request to make a crochet pattern for a Curvy Barbie. Admittedly, even though the doll had been available for more than a year at that point, I had just gotten my hands on one. I did not want to go too crazy and make a new design as I had no experience dressing a plus-sized doll.

And so, here is my first attempt in making a dress for the Curvy Barbie doll. I incorporated one of my more popular skirt designs (the chevron skirt) with a top idea that I had been toying with for awhile.

This is a free crochet pattern for a Curvy Barbie chevron dress. For something similar for a regular Barbie, please visit my Barbie Strapless Chevron Dress article. For more information on the different body types of Barbie, please visit Crochet Clothes for Your Barbie Doll.
