My favorite hobby is crocheting doll clothes. Using what I've learned from reading existing patterns, I create my own designs for Barbie.

Make a Party Dress for Barbie!

It has been a while since I last made a ruffled dress for Barbie, so I thought it was about time to make one again. Neck ruffles on Barbie clothes is on-trend in stores, so I wanted to incorporate them by using the same ruffle design on the neck and the skirt. The underskirt for this pattern is actually a bubble skirt. Without the bubble skirt base, the dress was too flouncy and kept moving around on the doll. For an actual bubble dress, you can visit Barbie V-Neck Bubble Dress.

This pattern was designed specifically for a Barbie Model Muse body type. For more information on the different body types of Barbies, please visit Crochet Clothes For Your Barbie Doll.

Thanks so much for all your great patterns. I have made this dress and it is gorgeous. It looks better in real life than in a picture.
