Crochet a Barbie Cami Chevron Romper: Free Pattern

Author:

My favorite hobby is crocheting doll clothes. Using what I've learned from reading existing patterns, I create my own designs for Barbie.

Make a Cami Chevron Romper for Barbie!

As promised, here is the project I made that incorporates color changes every two rows using the basic pattern from Barbie Chevron Cami Dress. Since I needed to rewrite the pattern to adjust the beginning stitches for each color change, I wanted to convert it to something else so I would not be making the same exact dress again, and also be able to come up with a new pattern.

I decided to go with a romper, as it is something that I have wanted to make for a while and will be a nice change from making dresses. If you wanted to make this in just one color, you will need to follow the basic cami chevron dress pattern until you reach the part where you need to start making the first leg.

This was made specifically for a Barbie Model Muse body type. For more information on the different body types of Barbie, please visit Crochet Clothes For Your Barbie Doll.

Using the basic pattern from cami chevron dress, this article will teach you how to convert it into a romper.
