Crocheted Tulip Hanging Basket (Free Pattern With Instructions)

Moira has been crocheting since she was 14 years old. She loves experimenting with small crochet projects.

Here is another lovely teardrop hanging basket for your plant babies or for your plushies. This pattern is decorated with the tulip stitch and was adapted from a Russian doily.

Yarn and Tools

I used single pull of Indophil yarn crocheted with a 4.00mm hook, and then I used a tapestry needle to hide loose ends.

Note: Yarns in my country are not standardized, so please use gauge to decide what yarn you can use! I have provided a gauge swatch in the photo gallery below.

Measurements

  • Length: 15 inches
  • Width: 9 inches
  • Gauge: 2.75 inches per 10 dc's and 2.5 inches per 5 rows
