Barbie Sexy Cleavage Dress (Free Crochet Pattern)
My favorite hobby is crocheting doll clothes. Using what I've learned from reading existing patterns, I create my own designs for Barbie.
Crochet a Sexy Dress for Barbie
Because showing some skin is getting more and more popular these days, this new design shows off Barbie's cleavage. However, it does so in a tasteful way and still looks wholesome from the waist down. Since it is supposed to be a sexy dress, I also made the top backless to match the look.
This is a free crochet pattern for a cleavage-baring dress for Barbie. It is specifically made for a Barbie Basics doll (or Model Muse body). For more information on the different Barbie body types available in the market, please visit my article called Crochet Clothes for Your Barbie Doll.

Skirt
Starting from the waist down:
Row 1: Ch 32, working in the back ridges of the chains, sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn. (31 sc)
Row 2 (RS): Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn. (31 sc)
Row 3: Working in FLO, ch 3 (counts as the first dc throughout), 4 dc in the first sc, sk 1 sc, dc in the next sc, (sk 1 sc, 5 dc in the next sc, sk 1 sc, dc in the next sc) across, turn. (48 dc)
Round 4: Ch 3, 4 dc in the first sc, sk 1 sc, dc in the next sc, (sk 1 sc, 5 dc in the next sc, sk 1 sc, dc in the next sc) across, sl st in the 6th dc to join, turn. (72 dc)
Round 5: Working on both layers to form a tab in the first 6 dc, ch 3, 4 dc in the first dc, sk 2 dc, (dc in the next dc, sk 1 dc, 5 dc in the next dc, sk 1 dc) around until you reach the last 3 dc, dc in the next dc, sk the last 2 dc, join w/ sl st in the first dc, turn. (96 dc)

Round 19: Ch 1, sc in each dc around, join, turn. (144 sc)
Round 20: Repeat Round 19, do not turn. (144 sc)

First Panel
With RS facing and working on the opposite side of the waistband:
Row 21 (First Panel): Sk 8 sts, attach thread in the next st, ch 3, 2 dc in the same st, sk 2 sts, dc in the next st, sk 2 sts, 3 dc in the next st, sk the remaining sts, turn. (7 dc)
Row 22: Ch 3, sk 2 dc, 5 dc in the next dc, sk 2 dc, dc in the last dc, turn. (7 dc)
Row 23: Ch 3, 2 dc in the same dc, sk 2 dc, dc in the next dc, sk 2 dc, 3 dc in the last dc, turn. (7 dc)
Rows 24–27: Repeat Rows 22 and 23 two more times. (7 dc)
Fasten off.
Second Panel
Going back to the skipped stitches on the waistband, sk 1 st, attach thread in the next st, repeat Rows 21–27 to form the Second Panel, do not fasten off.
Connecting the Panels
Now it is time to connect the two panels together.
Row 28: Ch 1, sc in the first 6 dc, connect the two panels together by working 1 sc through both panels (last dc of the Second Panel as well as the first dc of the First Panel), sc in the last 6 dc, turn. (13 sc)
Row 29: Ch 1, sc2tog, sc in each sc across until you reach the last 2 sc, sc2tog, turn. (11 sc)
Rows 30–31: Repeat Row 29. (7 sc)
Fasten off.
Border and Ties
Now you will need to create the border as well as the ties to hold the dress up. Starting on the edge of the waistband with RS facing,
Attach thread in the first st, ch 1, sc in each remaining sts on the waistband, continue working sc's on the edge of the First Panel until you reach the top corner, ch 26, sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across to form the First Tie, sc in each sc across Row 31 until you reach the other corner, ch 26, sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across to form the Second Tie, continue working sc's on the edge of the Second Panel and in each of the remaining sts of the waistband.
Fasten off and weave in all ends. Sew on 1 small snap on the waistband to close the skirt.
