My favorite hobby is to crochet doll clothes. Using what I've learned from reading existing patterns, I create my own designs for Barbie.

Still going on the trend of having flounced off-shoulder tops (like in the Barbie flounce open-shoulder high slit dress), I wanted to make a dress that somehow incorporates the design of the flounce and adds some ruffled details down at the bottom. Since I already had an off-shoulder dress from before, I decided to just use the Barbie asymmetrical off-shoulder dress as the base and add the ruffles to create a new design. The hat is made by following the same stitch patterns used on the dress.

The dress is made specifically for Barbie Model Muse dolls, while the hat should fit any standard-sized fashion doll. For more information on the different body types of Barbie, please visit my article Crochet Clothes for Your Barbie Doll.

      Hi, Grammidoll.

I did see those newer Barbie body types come out a year ago, I just haven't gotten around to actually getting one yet. I'll work on making a pattern for it once I get my hands on one.

Another great Barbie dress! I have a lot of these size dolls but am wondering if you have a dress pattern for the Curvy Barbie Doll. I enjoy crocheting all your doll clothes patterns. Thanks Much!
