This is a tough question. I don't think that blocking would help, but I would try it as a first option. Be sure to use cold water when blocking. If this doesn't help, and depending on what type of yarn you used, I would suggest drying your garment carefully in the dryer. Soak or wash your garment in cold water, then place in a net bag (one used for washing delicates) and put it in your dryer for 8-10 minutes. Take your garment out and see if it has changed shape. Then let air dry flat. It may need more time in the dryer, but just add 5 to 10 minutes at a time. Be careful using this technique.
