Hi, I've downloaded your lovely pattern today. Can you confirm what stitch the V's are? Also, what are the V's with the \ and the / at each end of the V?


The instructions are all written down per line. The V's, / and \ are just there to provide visuals for counting stitches after you do each row. Providing stitch counts for the number of dc's after each row seems pointless, so I used symbols to represent the stitch pattern best instead. Each / represents a dc stitch, while the V represents two dc's with a ch in the middle.
