Learn to Draw Eyeglasses

Want to draw a pair of eyeglasses? Drawing glasses from scratch can be difficult, but with a bit of practice, drawing a pair of glasses is easy.

With this easy-to-follow tutorial, drawing glasses should take no longer than five to seven minutes.

Start with two lenses.

Start with two lenses.

Step 1

Draw the two outlines for lenses and rims of the glasses. These lenses won't be entirely circular in shape but will be more of an oval shape with squared off ends on either side.

Connect the lenses.

Step 2

Next, we will draw the bridges of the eyeglasses. This particular pair will have two bridges in total, one on top of the other. Draw two simple lines that attach to both lenses.

Finish the bridge.

Step 3

Finish drawing the rest of the two bridges as shown in this step. In total, there should be four separate lines stacked one on top of the other to form two of the bridges.

Draw the rims.

Step 7

Lastly, draw the rest of the two hinges on both sides of the glasses. As you can see, the eyeglasses are facing toward the front in the finished picture.

Well, that's all there is to it! It's not so hard once you get the hang of it. Feel free to leave any feedback on this tutorial if you'd like! Hope you enjoyed it.
