How to Draw a Cartoon Eye

I've heard from friends and other artists that they struggle when trying to draw a character's eye. I created this simple tutorial, and I hope it will be useful to someone who may be facing this same dilemma. This tutorial doesn't show how to create an anime-style eye, but one that lies between cartoon-like and realistic.

Step 1
