Materials Needed

This little charm will fit right into your miniature fairy tale collection. It is also small enough to place on a bookshelf or keep as a pendant to make a wish.

You will need:

  • Small bottle or jar
  • Landscape Lichen (hobby moss)
  • Hot glue
  • Green paint
  • Silver glitter
  • Small red apple

These items can be purchased at a craft store. Some of the objects on this list can also be found at a local dollar tree or Walmart.

Step 1

Paint cork green! Be sure to let the cork of this small jar dry.

Step 2

Pull tiny pieces of moss away. The little pieces will be small enough to fit at the bottom of the jar.

Step 3

Squeeze hot glue into the bottom of small jar. You may use craft glue or hot glue, but it's better if it is clear. Be careful not to get glue on the top lip of the jar or sides of glass.

Drop the moss in and gently press down with tweezers. Let dry!

Step 4

Sprinkle silver glitter on the moss.

Step 5

Take the tiny red apple and put a spot of glue on the bottom of it. Use tweezers to lower apple in and place on top of moss. Gently press down. Let dry!

Step 6

Put dots of hot glue around rim of cork, then sprinkle silver glitter (optional) and quickly place cork in the top of jar. Let dry!
