Ruby writes from the Philippines. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in English, an MA in Education with concentration in Curriculum and Instruction, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in English with concentration in Literature.
Currently, she teaches education and communication courses in HEI, which include: Purposive Communication, Campus Journalism, Speech and Theater Arts, The Teacher and the School Curriculum, etc.
As for work experience, Ruby has been teaching for 28 and a half years from high school to college. She has been a school librarian, dean of girls, school registrar, and school principal.
Ruby founded SALT Ministries, an organization that trains young people in Bible study, evangelism, and community outreach programs and activities.
She is a trained medical missionary and practices a healthy lifestyle and exercises at least three or more times a week. She enjoys body and mind-nourishing foods, such as grains, fruits, nuts, legumes, and vegetables for her meals.
Her pastimes consist of gardening, reading, and learning new things. She has traveled to most islands in the Philippines, and at least eight countries in Asia including China, Hongkong, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.
