Stay at home mom of two homeschooled children (7 and 5) . I enjoy quilting and crafting. I am a budding DIY diva. My parents raised me to always think first in how to do something myself with what I had and not always running out and buying the latest and greatest.
The creativness and thinking for myself that my parents instilled in me is being passed on to my children and that is a legacy that is important to me. I would rather my children spend their days learning about the entire world around them by being in it, instead of sitting in an age based bubble and reading about it from behind their desk.
This type of living is important to me because it constantly helps me stay aware that no one is going to take care of my family better than I can if I simply stop and think outside the box.
