I am a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where I majored in English Literature, minored in Japanese, and obtained a certificate in Medieval and Renaissance Studies. I also attended graduate school at the University of Pittsburgh where I obtained a Master's degree in the art of teaching. I am certified to teach 7-12 English and Communications as well as K-12 Library Media Science and I am a K-12 English as a Second Language Program Specialist. Before I began my professional career, I worked as a supervisor at Michael's Arts and Crafts where I learned how to create many crafts. I am also a certified cheerleading coach with cheer, dance, and gymnastics experience. I have a wide range of interests and hobbies including Young Adult and fantasy novels, Renaissance Festivals, steampunk, pirates, and costuming.
